Thank you from Mini Sport – HRCR Open Day 2016!

The HRCR 2016 Open Day got off to a great start, taking more registrations before lunch than in the whole of last season. The Mini cup saw twenty crews registering and with the return of all of last year’s main contenders and several new faces, so we are looking forward to some exciting and close competition. The new open class for Classic Minis that do not fully comply with the historic regulation is proving particularly popular.

Whilst Crews with Mini’s formed the majority of entrants there was a wide range of other interesting cars including a Marina, Triumph 2.5 PI, Lancia Fulvia, Hillman Imp,Vauxhall Firenza and Chevette, Cortina and a few Escorts.

As official sponsors of this popular championship and the Mini Cup, Mini Sport will continue to offer a comprehensive range of equipment and engineering services at a discounted rates, to make sure that all competitors make the most of the rallying experience and are fully prepared for the challenging stages on the Country’s most famous rally venues.

Yokohama will be further supporting the championship with heavily discounted tyres available through Mini Sport, who in order to keep delivery costs down, will aim to deliver ordered tyres to each round. If you wish to order Yokohama tyres via Mini Sport, we advise that you pre-order the required tyres to the previous round to save on carriage. We are currently taking orders for the first round of the Championship AGBO stages at Weston Park on the 20^th.
