This past Sunday saw the National Mini Cooper Day return to Beaulieu, in Hampshire for its 35th birthday. As one of the more significant events on the Mini calendar, it was well attended by Mini enthusiasts and industry insiders alike. Being a Mini specialist here at Mini Sport, we were delighted to attend; displaying our brand and industry knowledge to the many interested passers-by.
National Mini Cooper Day – A Perfect Day Out For Any Mini Specialist
A celebration of ‘all things Mini’, the 2018 National Mini Cooper Day displayed a large array of Coopers in a multitude of marquees; models ranging from 1961 to the very latest Mini John Cooper Works. In and around these displays were many a Mini specialist; giving attendees advice and assistance on different aspects of the Mini that they may have been interested in.
Taking place in the grounds of Palace House (which is also home to The National Motor Museum), another aspect of National Mini Cooper Day saw a large group of enthusiasts take part in the concours – the contest to decide who has the ‘most prestigious-looking Mini’.
But it wasn’t just all browsing around. Aside from classically known for being an economical drive and a true British icon, the Mini is loved by so many because it offers a truly unique driving experience. This is why the event hosts the ‘Mini Cooper Register Rally’ which is renowned for the quality of competition, thanks to the high-standard of cars taking part. Any Mini (or even any racing) fan would enjoy this fantastic spectacle.
