Continuing to introduce you to the drivers and co-drivers in our 2017 Mini Sport Mini Cup, and following on from Andy Walkingshaw and Ray Cunningham, we have the driver from our all-female crew Louise Thomas!
As one half of the only all-female crew in the Mini Sport Mini Cup, this is Louise’s first time competing – although not her first time rallying, Louise began as a co-driver way back in 2000!
Travelling all the way from Mull, most of the rallies in the Championship require Louise and Emily to take over 1000 mile round trip.
Louise is a Marie Curie nurse and is competing to raise much needed funds for Marie Curie UK, and you can read all about her involvement with the charity here in Louise’s report from Dixies Historic Challenge.
Ahead of Championship Louise said: “Come along and watch the action and give the girls a cheer! We aim to take on the boys in the Championship and raise vital awareness and funds for Marie Curie.”
