Well, we are close to the end of the championship and we couldn’t wish for a closer finish to what has been a great year of historic rallying. With the top 5 in the old STAGER championship and top 4 in the Mini Sport Mini cup all in which a chance of winning it should be a grandstand finish.
Round 7: The Keldine Autos Cheviot Rally 22nd October
The Cheviot is a fitting end to the championship with a 60 mile pace-note event over the iconic asphalt roads of the Otterburn Ranges. There will be a Saturday recce to check notes and get a feeling for the roads if you haven’t visited the ranges before. We have 15 crews out on the event which is a great achievement for the last round of the championship. Many thanks to everyone who is supporting the event and remember that 1.5 times points are available. Also all competitors starting the Cheviot Rally will receive another 5 Litres of Millers Engine Oil.
2018 Championship & Mini Sport Mini Cup
Many thanks for the feedback on our plans for next year and the many positive comments. Looks like we have a popular format that will hopefully be the basis for growing the championship further next year.
