We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a trade stand at the Portrush Mini Show on the 26th August. Organised by the Causeway Coast Mini Club, the annual event has been growing in popularity since its introduction in 2011. Taking place on the picturesque Northern Irish coast, it promises to be an unforgettable day out for Mini specialists and enthusiasts alike.
Mini Specialists At The Portrush Mini Show
Aside from being a great excuse to enjoy the company of like-minded aficionados and getting some great deals from Mini specialists, there is much more to see and do at the show. The Saturday kicks off the event in some style, with the ever-popular ‘Mini Dash’ that sees over 200 of them racing on the near-9-mile stretch from Bushmills to Portstewart. This year’s dash has been designated a ‘cartoon character fancy dress theme night’ and there are prizes to be won for the best-dressed driver and car too.
The Sunday is the ‘Super Static Show’. Taking place at the West Bay car park, this area offers a fantastic view of the Atlantic Ocean and is a great starting point for the Cavalcade, which gives attendees a great opportunity to parade their own custom Minis on the Promenade. The backdrop to this will, of course, be the presence of trade stands, alongside an autojumble and family entertainment. The event will draw to a close with attendee awards for the best Mini in each class (16 of them) and the annual Morelli’s Ice Cream Van Job Cavalcade. Which is a sight to behold if you’re a fan of Mini’s, ice creams, the Italian Job (or all three).
