The event will make up our two final rounds (rounds 6 and 7) round 6 from Thursday night to Friday lunch time then round 7 Friday evening through to Saturday afternoon.
The event will again cover 163 miles of classic Isle of Man roads over 20 stages for the HRCR crews for the three days of competition.
The HRCR have obtained a TV package for you to see the crew’s exploits on the Isle of Man, to be aired on Motors TV during the evening of the 7th Oct 2016.
We will see the welcome return of Stephen Hall and Aggie Foster in their TR4 to contest this category. Peter Ellerby and Paul Price will sit together to try to obtain maximum points. The HRCR welcome back Geoff Taylor and Steve Greenhill in the Imp Sport who were last seen out on the first round, the AGBO stages. Isle of Man locals Adrian Kermode / Maurice Beckett will be out to score maximum points keeping their category win alive. Shane Gamble who has scored well in this category before is also entered.
Clive King / Anton Bird will make the boat ride over ensuring they do everything to try to get as many points as possible to extend their lead over Jim Brindle in the Category. Doug and Mike Harrison will bring their Fulvia over to the island to make good use of the new brake pads they have invested in.
Category leader Stuart Anderson will be accompanied by his son Jack in their Vauxhall Chevette HS, whilst Kevin and Lee Jones in the Ferrari 308 Michellotti will try to gain as many points as possible to overtake them for the category win after both rounds have been contested. Making a return to the championship is the Porsche 911 of Tony Robinson, after brake problems curtailed their early season challenge.
