Over the weekend of 9-10th November, Mini Sport will be in action at the prestigious PokerStars Isle of Man Rally. A National B status stage rally, the event will be taking place on closed roads throughout the island, piquing the interest of local motorsport fans, as well as attracting rally fans and Mini specialists from across the UK.

Organised by local club Manx Auto Sport, the annual event has grown in popularity each year, with competitors from across the British Isles descending on the island for one of the final rallying events of the year. With weather conditions expected to be cloudy, with ‘spells of rain’ on the Sunday, each stage promises to throw up intriguing challenges for all involved; hopefully leading to some thrilling action!
The Isle of Man is well known for its racing heritage, of course; the most notable is the annual Tourist Trophy (TT) motorcycle event that attracts thousands of visitors each year with its extremely difficult track producing some exhilarating racing over the island’s many bends, bumps and jumps. It isn’t just the two-wheel vehicles that have a great heritage on the island though; there have been/are a vast number of motorsport events that take place throughout the year, including the Manx Classic, Isle of Man Rallies and the Southern 100, all of them conjuring their own unique atmosphere and local interest.
We’re proud to sponsoring two crews in this year’s event; Jack Hartley and his co-driver Gary Dawes will be in the Mini Austin, whilst John and Martin Cressey will be driving the iconic Mini Austin Cooper S. In a field that combines classic brands with some modern top-level rally names, our Mini specialists will surely stand out for their unique look and style (and hopefully bringing home a podium finish too!)
